    really? what about a long drill and just making a hole in centre? does that mean De-cat pipes are noisy? i'm sure turbo cars are naturally quieter since noise has no get through turbo

    window fixed - total cost £4.56 for 2 new carriers bit of a chew re-setting windows as one decidedit didn't want to play. next job replace bust CAT ...... oooh i can't wait !!

    just checked on VAGCAT they are different. 130pd 1J0 253 057 AX 150pd 1J0 253 058GX i know 150 has bigger turbo - i'll ask Awesome and JBS tomorrow morn unless sombody has fitted one ??

    Car has done 98k now and is running really well..... Yesterday my drivers window jammed (common prob) parts are on order Just noticed today CAT has a hole in it - Fooking marvelous So need to decide what to do de-cat? Stainless system OEM ? Also my fecking car insurance...

    i've managed to source one thorugh a local cooling system repair company OEM part made by Valeo and saved myself £150 - even came with clips, MAP sensor and rubber grommets WHAT A FUKCING RESULT - :thumbsup: can't wait to drive car with full boost

    The engine oil breather are vented through the turbo system for emisions regulations so there will always be oil in there it's crap but true.

    Finally worked out much to my disgust that the intercooler is leaking Somewhere at the base it's split and oozing oily gunk. How much is an intercooler for ASZ TDi ? I'm sitting down already ................. Cheers Ian :sadlike:

    managed to un clip it last night without bumper removal - very easy and obviously meant to since tow eye is there loads of crud blocking intercooler fins - all clean now

    i was begining to think mine had gone too. I'm keeping an eye on it. Car seems to be going well and i didn't hear any leaking noise when checking it out. I'll check to see if my oil leaking has completely gone.
