sad time, guy that was selling fuel pump has turned out to be an idiot! so i still need a fuel pump, any ideas as to which one..... ill be running 630cc injectors

Looking at upgrading the fuel system on my a6 2.7t, done all the lines, new pump and rs4 injectors on the way, i found a new Fuel Pressure regulator (5 BAR). question is, will it make any difference? will it give me more fuel flow to the engine as a pose to my current 4 bar regulator?

Mine, still more to do, need to do engine covers and trying to locate the cover that goes over the right hand side of engine area where the washer and power steering bottle is........ also standard diverter valves are back on now while im waiting for my forge splitters :-)

also, has any one ever seen a samco or similar coolant hose kit for these engines?

Im going to re-paint my engine covers and gel coat them, also the "V6 BI-TURBO" is going blue before i gel coat it, look good or not?

just from ebay, I say rolls, I just bought it in meters lol ie i think i used a total of 4 meters for the 4mm, 2 meters of the braided 7mm hose plus all the end caps and fuel connection flange.... this is a list of most things used, so you can see Samco Silicone Induction Hose - Audi RS4 B5...

Im thinking of doing this on my a6 2.7t, to install, does it basically go between the nipple in the "y" pipe and the "spider hose"? as if so, i was going to make a complete new spider hose using braided hose, which would then plum into one pipe on the catch tank, then the other pipe on tank...

i used , 3mm, 5mm and 7mm id hose, just bought in rolls.... as well as braided 7mm id for fuel lines plus braid hose clips and fuel line adaptor... the result,,,,, (still waiting for a couple of samco hoses for in inlet pipe)

I know people say things about the valves, but if im honest, the boost holds alot better, i have a really soft spring in them so they open just as easy as the oe dv's. Im going to chrome the water tank as well as y pipe and bi-pipe. The brake lines are just sleeved with silicone at the moment...

yeah..... they are a bit of the pain arnt they......... i might just leave those until iv got the engine out next, knowing me it wont be long.......
