sorry to sound thick, so with the repair wire I solder one end onto the existing wire and then that plugs into the other end with like a bullet connecter?
What's a repair wire? just nipped to garage next door to work, they will charge me £45 just to put it on diagnostics machine ( I could do with knowing for sure that the connecter is at fault ) before I attempt the fix, don't want to pay that tho If I can help it.
I don't think it's going to disappear any time soon, been to long. At the moment I've got some black insulation tape stuck over it on the dash because it's annoying as hell.
Not to confident on soldering the wires together like some people have done.
It flashers on and off all the time at...
Ok had the light for a few months now, so going to disconnect the yellow plugs under the seats and clean up the connection
Am I ok to just leave the key out of the ignition to attempt this, or will I have to disconnect the battery? Read on here but get conflicting advice?
TIA
Hi
Dented my door a while back, ****** stone fell off wall next to my car and did the below damage. Can this repaired without needing a new door? Bit hard to tell the the extent of the damage with the picture, but it's quite a big dent that ripples outwards.
In 2 minds whether to get it...
Think they were ones I was thinking of buying, in th end I ended up buying the Audi normal ones and a new jet washer thingy. To be really honest they are silent and working great again. Even tho it cost me around £50.
Well I cant fault the service even tho it was pricey, I got all the print outs of what was adjustered and the car drives as straight as an arrow now. The guy knows his stuff, he's a qualified racing driver etc etc and as quite good set up. It was just handy with it being right next to work...
No it wasn't Audi, it's a garage I've never used before near my works, I to was knocked back when I got the bill! Thought it would be under £200 at least. They advertise the alignment at £49 including setting the toe at the front end, any other adjustments are then added extra. They did tell me...
Well just spent £283
4 wheel Hunter alignment and Aircon Regas £228
G65 Pressure sensor £55
Just when I save a bit of money it's gone again.
Well at least my steering wheel is straight now and hopefully save on tyres with the alignment.
And I can stay cool in the summer ( if we get one )...
