you should be able to check with audi they will have a record of which cars have had the uprated coils fitted. they are ment to change them as part of service schedule i think. so if yours has full history they should have been done.

POO PANTS. I'M 90 % SURE THE KEYS HAVE A CHIP THAT YOU CAN PULL OUT AND INTERCHANGE SO IF YOU JUST NEEDED A NEW ONE IT WOULD BE FINE BUT AS YOU HAVEN'T GOT THE OLD SPARE KEY IT CAN'T BE DONE. THOUGHT BOUT BUYING A SPARE TOO AS I ALSO ONLY HAVE ONE KEY. BUT THOUGHT BETTER OF IT.

try bottom pully by power steering pump i know of a mk3 golf that had same problem and it was the pully that was making it shake.
