Is your car driving in limp mode? it maybe something as simple as the n75 valve (quite common) but the best option is to do a scan, many members on here use VCDS. If your near Buckinghamshire then you can pop to mine for it

Dont get the A4 RNS-E as it wont fit, just search for the A6 ones on ebay and as there are loads. One word of warning, try and avoid using copied DVD'x as they will shorten the life of the laser

Fuel pump, Filter or even the fuel

Did he change the fuel filter? and its worth putting some injector cleaner in your tank. Even better if you change your filter, fill it up with injector cleaner as the engine will run quite happily on that until the fuel comes through

Have you got a scan of the fault codes, as this will help. If you dont have access to VCDS then there maybe a member local to you that could do it

Taking the steering wheel off is a 2 minute job as long as you have the Spline bit. Its better to do a good job with the lub that with WD40 as it could cause issues if it got on the connectors for the MFSW or even worse the Airbag!!
