19" 235s on 8J wheels fit fine. Stock size for the S3 Saloon, RS3, etc. 1cm taller overall than the 225/40. Great resource at wheel-size.com

For those of you interested, I just replaced the stock 18" wheels on Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres with a set of 19" Fuchs-made OEM ones (post #164) on Conti SC5P and the weight difference was 2kg! 19.6kg vs 20.6kg Awesome.

Guys, on a 2017 S3 3 door am I looking for a 55mm strut?

I had to sell my Porsche and M4 with the arrival of my second and have ended up with an S4 Avant and S3. I think the S4 is a great family wagon. Doesn't feel too big and my wife hasn't yet destroyed any of the wheels, which is frankly remarkable.

Thanks for the response. Think I might go for the B16s. The garage I just spoke to also suggested H&R ARBs front and rear with this set up. Anyone any experience with the two in conjunction?

Doesn't the F/L S3 have the improved DQ381 with a higher torque capacity?

Quick one folks. If I don't plan anything other than a Stage 1 upgrade, is it worthwhile changing the intake? I may change the downpipe at a later date, but I want the maximum power I can from S1 without any hardware mods, if possible. I assume an intake with S1 won't make much difference?
