Status 38 is at port of exit which should be Emden, my car arrived at Emden beginning of March and sat for 2 weeks or so before it came across to UK. Thankfully my car is now ready for collection from my dealer, cars are definitely on the move between Emden and Grimsby, one thing I noticed...

Check the status when it goes 40 it means it's arrived, my car went status 40 in mid-March but hasn't changed since, I think there is quite a backlog to get through at the ports.

I would ring your Audi Center and ask they should be able to advise which port.

Just edited my post as I forgot to put ports of entry to UK. Your Audi center should be able to give you information on port of entry.

Emden is VW/Audi's main port out of Germany for cars to UK. Port of entry depends on what you live for south is usually Sheerness, north is Grimsby and Tyne.

Yes although the dates can sometimes be slightly out. So as it stands your car is at Emden, if you look on www.marinetraffic.com you can monitor shipping, I am sure my car is at Sheerness which came from Emden via Mallaca Highway, which that boat has been there since March and hasnt moved.

I got my S3 in late February, I regularly commute to London with it approximately 30 miles each way, usually drive in E mode and average 31 - 33 MPG. However there are moments where I drive in Dynamic the whole journey which drops it to around 24 MPG.

I was paying just over £300 on my Q3 184 TDI, got the S3 phoned up to change the insurance over and was quoted by my provided over £1000 told them to go jump for that. In the end settled for Performance Direct and got it for £590, I am 41 years old with full no claims.

I am with Audi Maidstone, but I am not too fussed as I am not taking mine till 1st March.

Mine's been 38 for about 2 weeks now, it left Ingolstadt on 13th Jan, and has been on status 38 for a couple of weeks.
