I agree if I was looking to sell privately but can't see Audi offering me less with just the stipulation that I need 4 new tyres? Anyway, it seems my S4 delivery maybe longer than anticipated so given I'm still driving the S3 for a good few months I'll probably get some decent rubber on.

3 at 4mm and 1 just under 4mm. Audi have advised that for trade in they need to all be minimum 4mm so by that time they'll all need replacing.

I've made the jump and just ordered a new S4 Avant for the extra practicality. Trading in my S3 but need to replace all 4 tyres now and it's a good 3 months before I get rid. Don't want to waste money on anything decent just for a few months driving so can anyone recommend a good budget brand...

Yep that's my fear on the time wasters etc! Thanks for your personal experience, I might try the dealer route for a sale and return but if no go I'll probably just sell to Evans Halshaw who've given me a reasonable price which will at least clear my finance.

Good call guys, didn't think of that tbh. I coukd actually still use the S3 until the S4 is delivered then hand over to the garage for them to try sell minus their sellers fee. Presume they take any liability for insurance etc on test drives and any damage to the vehicle?

Thanks Jassy Yeah I'm not expecting to fetch much more than a lesser spec car but just think it will make it more desirable and sell reasonably quickly hopefully. SS seats, pan roof and b&o to name a few of the options should help I'm sure.

Thanks for the reply. Yes my concern is the time wasters which is why I've always taken the part ex route. I've had a quote from Evans Halshaw which was ok but with the car as it is I'm sure it's worth more and could find it with some patience.
