Just in case anybody is still interested in this. The annoying rattle was coming from the passenger seat height adjustment lever. Audi are replacing the whole height adjustment mech as there was too much play in it!

thanks guys, all it says on the spec list is Automatic Low Beam Headlights. It's no problem, I'll find out next Friday anyway! Looking forward to getting it, they drive really well.
