Cheers. Certainly the remaining and the alleged value are very close. However I need to get a couple of wheels refurbished and potentially a couple of other things done so there may be some negotiation done.

When I placed the order for the S5, the S3 was running a bit of negative equity. However, looking at the figures now, there is not that much of a difference. So I will be asking the dealer to look into PX also. The BVRLA guidelines that Audi Finance follow do mention about having the same tyres...

Thanks. The car will probably go back to the finance company soon and I believe they stipulate the tyres must be of a similar setup to those that came on it. The tyres currently on it are 225/40 18 92Y which appear to match the original ones.

What about the 92Y bit at the end?

It's the 225/40 stuff on the tyre walls I'm looking for. Curious if the tyres on it now are the same rating as the originals.

As title says..... Can anyone point me in the direction as to where I can find out what the rating of the tyres that came with the S3 8V? Thanks

I have one of these and can agree with others that it is very good. However, I am waiting on a new car to be built and will be selling my clearmount in the next few months. Keep your eyes open if you're interested.

Back on topic........ My 2014 S3 does this with the announcements. Was a solution ever found?

Snap with the reversing noise. It doesn't happen every time and I've yet to find what the common scenario is. Done nothing about it yet......

I've 3500 miles on my S3 stronic sportback and getting the noise. I'm no expert but suspect that after a couple of thousand miles, something underneath loosens up and resonance kicks in

When listening to music/podcasts on your phone, if you stop the car and engine, and open the door, the music stops. However, if you keep your foot on the brake, the music continues to play.

Years ago I had an 8P S3 3 door as I reckoned it looked better. Recently I went in to order a white or black 8V 3 door and ended up placing an order for an Estoril Blue sportback. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Unlocking the car doesn't make the mirrors go back out. Also, I have the advanced key option.

I have the option set to have the wing mirrors folded in when the car is locked. Whilst I'm washing it, what is the easiest way to get the mirrors unfolded?

Would agree that white stays cleaner looking for longer. My Estoril Blue is only clean for a day before it looks dusty.
