    New S3 on PCP Advice...

Think about what you're going to do after 48 months. Refinance: Put the miles to the lowest possible. This will reduce the monthly payments. When it comes to refinancing then they take the value of the car as opposed to the miles on the car. If a car has under 40k miles then it doesn't really...

Launch Control Limit - Fact Or Fiction?

Is it bad that I must have done LC 50+ times in my car? Everyone seems quite reserved about it.

    What would you do?

Definitely wait for the new plate. When you come to sell in years to come the 65 plate will be worth so much more.

    Nav inaccuracy at destination

Sounds like it just needs calibration. I didn't get the Sat Nav as I have 3 apps on my phone, however in my previous car there was a calibration mode where I had to drive 10 miles and it triangulated the position. Is there any option in the Navigation menu like this?

Knew it would get me in trouble.......

That would be a great way to cripple the economy, remove essentially a whole generation from being able to drive. I understand your point, but I think that's a bit too authoritarian. I agree with h5djr, the test should be made more comprehensive to start with. It still amazes me that driving...

    Another Fault - What Now?

Ha! That doesn't surprise me after the experience I've had. What happened to German efficiency? If only their cars didn't perform so well and look so good.

    Sick S3

We are in very similar situations then. I've done just over 8k miles and had a service about 500 miles ago, which was an oil change. Fingers crossed it will show up on the fault reader. I'll be interested to know what Audi Assist say. Hope it's not too bad.

    Spotters Thread For 8V Chassis

That could well have been me!! What time was it? Saw a lovely looking S3 SB in sepang blue going into Croydon earlier this evening. Looked really nice with the black styling pack on

    Sick S3

Yeah that doesn't sound right at all. I'm sure Audi will give you a courtesy car while yours is being fixed. You were brave to go through the tunnel not knowing whether you'd make it or not! I wonder if our faults are related, obviously yours is clearly much more advanced though. How many...

    Best and Worst Stealers

I'm quite surprised that nobody has mentioned Coulsdon Audi on here; apparently they make the 2nd most sales in the UK after West London Audi. Anyway I bought my car through Eren, when he was at Coulsdon. Absolutely cracking guy, really focussed on the customer service side of things and...

Automatic start/stop: system fault! Function unavailable

Welcome to the forum :) Thanks for letting me know, this is very useful. It's strange that the computer doesn't pick this up. Did they do anything to fix the undervoltage? I'm guessing you still occasionally get this fault come up if they couldn't fix it. I wonder if Audi can be convinced to...

Automatic start/stop: system fault! Function unavailable

Ah now I have that as well, perhaps it's related. I have a list for my dealership to look at when I take it in, I'm guessing they don't like me anymore after the email I sent... The "quality" was a subject I raised.

Should I debadge my car? (Poll)

Whatever you do I'd keep the rings. From my snobby opinion, I want people to know I have a premium car from the logo. I don't want someone who's not into cars looking and not understanding how important I am on the road.... :kissmyrings:
