I'd be interested in the red stitch trim, do you have an example of how it looks?
In the UK a few press RS3's had carbon trim but it wasn't an option on early cars. I believe it is an option now, but piano black is standard.

This works for me
Enable automatic activation of parking tones when approaching obstacle[/U][/B]
Select STG 10 (parking aid)
STG access authorization - Select function 16
Enter access code 71679
STG coding -> Select function 07
Select Byte 3
Enable Bit 4
Try resetting the MMI afterwards...
Oh sorry, misread. I really like it.
You have to get quite close for it to kick in, so it doesn't annoy you in traffic etc as you shouldn't be stopping that close behind someone else.
One of the best tweaks I've done. I also missed it from my Mrs Octavia vRS

You should find it in DJ Alix's PDF linked in his sig.
Rear DRLs are just the normal rear lights as if you had them on.

Is it as simple as you want it on the highest setting (biggest bar, flicked towards the end of the stalk)?
The only issue I find is if the car has a wet screen at ignition on it sometimes needs a jog to do the initial wipe, but after that max sensitivity is fine and sometimes I even turn it...
Watching this as I plan to H&R my RS3 with mag ride.
I found on other threads relating to using these channels to adjust A6/S6 suspension there is a max of 17mm adjustment. Here for example.
I suspect there will be a value smaller than the 20-30mm we need to enter here too. Let us know what...
From discussing this a few weeks ago it's not simple.
I'd suggest you contact Advanced In-Car Tech as I know they've managed it before after some extended fiddling.

No.
Rules say all indicators must flash in phase, the only exception being motorbikes which may flash front/rear alternately.
That said, I and many others have had this enabled for some time with no trouble. Probably indicated in front of 7-8 cops and nothing. It's unlikely they know the law...
I've seen a number of cars royally messed up and not fixable with VCDS after people have gone poking and then not being able to revert the changes.
Dealers have had to flash the cars back to factory at some cost!
Rosstech (for the known ones) do put warnings in the long coding helper, but there...

These claim to work with factory fit Drive Select - no mention of RS3 on the compatibility but it could be as they haven't updated it yet. Might be worth getting in touch with KW to see what they say about a delete 'module'.
Some mag/electronic suspension delete kits come with a plug you replace the shock absorb connection with - the plug fools the car into thinking the mag ride is still installed. Not sure if you can get it for the 8V, but have seen it on many other VAG platforms.
I haven't tried it, but it could be linked to the parking sensor switch off threshold (which is configurable with VCDS). I actually increased mine as it annoyed me having to reactivate them when doing multi-story car parks and wanted the security of knowing I wasn't going to scrape the front in...
