I got my car back again today with new clutch packs fitted and what a difference, the fault has finally completely gone.
Just crossing my fingers for the next few weeks but it is pulling like a train again with no hiccups.

There is definitely a setting for this in the car when AA is connected, mine was doing this and I eventually found it.
Unfortunately my car is back in the dealers again so can't go out to find what it was.
Unfortunatly it has returned after a few days so back to square one, maybe just keep doing Launch Controls.

It was showing a slight weep around the thermostat housing, but I hadn't noticed any water loss.
Yes, as the S-Tronic is really a manual box with automatic clutches it has basically the same interface to the engine.
Torque converter gearboxes wouldn't have one.
So I took the car out last night to try to see if my BIL could shed any light on the issue, he could detect the issue immediately...
