Maybe different effects for different engines? Had mine for 3 years and worked great on 2.0d 150. Done a bit of research when I got mine and generally good experiences at the time.

I had been using DTUK CRD-T on my 62 plate A3 2.0d 150 > 180. Always took it off for services, think it had a recall update to software at some point too without ever any issues... selling mine now as I have an A4 in case anyone reading is interested :-) it's in the for sale sections!

I've just put a post in the for sale section, I have a DTUK tuning box going, takes 150 up to 180... only takes 5 mins to fit to 2 plugs on engine and works brilliantly :-)

I left mine as out-the-box settings. Was happy enough with the improvement so never bothered fiddling!

I got the CRD-T box last June when it was meant to take it from 150ps to 180ps and just left it on out the box settings. Although now it's capable of taking to 200ps so emailed DTUK on how to get it updated :-D

Ahh OK thanks. Yeah I noticed it was for left hand drive but just expected it to be the opposite. I did look in the glove box (after the girlfriend suggested it) but I pretty much dismissed it "that's impossible" I think were my words......... Thanks again.

Think I've blown a fuse for the 12v socket and it's in the interior fuse box. The manual shows a panel by steering column / light switches but there is no panel. The panel is everything from the silver trim at binnacle all the way down and no obvious way of getting it off.... HELP!!! Cheers

I've got blue cable (not gone back to Audi yet) with non-tech pack and 5th gen iPod ... No random :-(

I've seen in the MMI somewhere a menu for software update and you can specify if it's from sd card or somewhere else, cd maybe can't remember... Maybe it's possible to update yourself or maybe something that only audi have access to... Either way the option is there!

Are we talking about with the standard mmi or with tech pack? I've been supplied with blue grommet!

I like the auto start stop in principle, such as sitting at lights for a minute, but in crawling traffic it's a pain! Of course you can get both situations on the same drive so rather than turning it off altogether, I just rest the gear stick on 1st so the car doesn't realise it's actually in...

The standard MMI comes with 2 SD slots. 1 can be used for upgrading to SD sat nav (will still need to pay lots of money for Audi to turn the feature on though!)

The 3dr 1.8 was only available as auto for a while before having the option of manual... Can't really see why but guess it will be the same here.

No cost down/upgrade at time of ordering but once the car has been delivered I would imagine you'll get charged full cost of new suspension plus labour to change... I've got Sports at the moment but ordered new one with S Line... Not really sure how different it will be...

The S Line comes as standard with Sports suspension so 15mm lower than standard (SE). You have to 'upgrade' to S Line suspension at zero cost which is a further 10mm lower than Sport. You can also 'downgrade' to standard SE suspension if you wish. It would seem most people prefer to go with...

Maybe a tad off topic but how does the sound quality compare when playing through an iPod? I mean the signal is still analogue as far as I'm aware (new connector being digital?) so would it sound any different from playing through a normal 3.5mm jack from my phone for example? I might also go...
