Yes, plenty of videos on Youtube but basically, push the bottom right of the mirror right in and get a wide bladed 'implement' to gently prise the mirror out from the top left. Be aware of the wires for the heater element.

Can you re-site the steering wheel when the car has been set up but not moved from the optical alignment equipment? That would probably be your best bet as the steering column should be bang on the money at that stage.

Has anyone replaced the headlight lenses and anything to look out for, please? Mine (2012 SE with 'all weather headlights') are quite badly stone-shipped, way too bad for a 3M 'repair' polishing kit and one has constipation. Sorry, condensation.

Now fitted and all is well - thanks for the recommendation - expensive but you get what you pay for and they have a 4 year warranty. As an aside, it seems HID bulbs (technically called burners), do fade over time and most manufacturers of repute recommend replacement every 4 years.

Have to say, bulbs ok on main roads but I do 60 miles a day on back roads and this is where they are rubbish.

Replaced the D3S headlight bulbs with some spares, but they’re ****** awful! OEM are (I think) Osram, but are there better? 2012 SE spec with all weather lights too.

All I did was download amd stick my chassis number in. Pretty sure that was all I had to do - definitely didn’t have to buy anything.

You can download and set up the MyAudi app, it'll tell you what your original spec is/was.
