you need some interior trim removal tools but you don’t need to drop the whole headliner
pop off the a pillar trim (mind the airbag!) and remove the drivers sun visor and grab handle and you’ll be able to pull the headliner down far enough to get at it
Most likely coming from your sunroof. I had the same issue with my A6. Tried sealing it with Captain Tolley and it still leaked :(
You'll need to drop the headliner to see exactly where it's coming from. The frame develops a crack and therefore water bypasses the drains and makes its way...
Honestly can't remember as it was about 3 years ago I had the issue and I sold the car last year. Might have been 300/400 miles?? I booked it in fairly swiftly.

Via the cars CANBUS systems. By removing the ECU you interface directly to it using the appropriate pin out positions
To write the file via OBD can vary between 10-20 minutes depending on the car. I know my own A6 takes just under 20 minutes to write the file to the ECU.
Writing directly to...
includes a technician sat in your car for up to 2 hours plus the cost of the software........at Audi dealer prices!!
i had my maps and firmware from @DJAlix for a lot less :)
No you fit the wheel yourself; takes 5 minutes to do it :) Best thing is you know it will fit! No messing around trying to find a different shape airbag etc
i paid £100 deposit on top of the price. They send you a wheel. Remove your old wheel, fit new wheel and send your old wheel back to...
Expensive day out for you mate :(
From the research I did it seems common for the injector seals to go on these engines from 75k onwards......another service item to add to the list!!
