That was my thoughts on the subject, the Central Electrics module must send a small pulse across each bulb to check the continuity, on the leds this give you the pulses when you power up. Apart from that they do look good enabled. Paul

Also I always do an autoscan and save the log before I do anything on any car, that way you a) know that there aren't any fault codes before you start b) have a baseline of coding for all of the modules to refer back to. Regards, Paul

I believe that the cold diagnosis is basically a start up check of the bulbs - and that you will still get a bulb failure if you turn it off when you turn the lights on. Now it is a PITA if you want to fit LED replacements, but it is a fantastic warning system. Paul
