    S1 Nav upgrade

That’s a load of bull The car MUST already have 2 slots to be able to upgrade. There are 2 things you need to upgrade; 1. A license (available only from a dealer and about £400) 2. A single SD card with the maps on (available from the dealer for about £200 or a lot less from other sources!)...

    Clutch slip in 6th gear

I sold the car when it started slipping (not for that reason, just coincidence!). But I would definitely have uprated it, stock clutches are known to be made of cheese on the S1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Clutch slip in 6th gear

Sounds like the clutch is nearing end of life. Mine did exactly this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    General Chat

And then you’ve cluttered up the model specific areas anyway and not even been kind enough to provide a link. Facepalm comes to mind! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    S1, magnetic ride or not?

No, it has electronically controlled dampers. Difference is; With magride the fluid can be magantised making it harder to flow and so firming up the suspension. The level of magnetism is varied continuously based on DriveSelect and other inputs. With the electric dampers, imaging a normal...

Purchased an S1 in Nogaro Blue

Hey! It certainly is an exclusive colour. I run http://editionnoggy.com a club for Nogaro Blue cars (check us out and join us!). Yours is the only Noggy S1 I’ve seen. There is an A1 in Italy that I know of, but that is it! Car looks great! I used to have a Vegas Yellow S1, but now have a...

    Haldex issues

Haha! At least you don’t get brown trouser sideways moments!! I’ve never done the drift thing, though have a few mates that have E36’s and regularly go to drift days. It does look like fun, but I fear if I got that good at it I’d be tempted to do it a bit too often and not always in the safe...

    Haldex issues

You can see the serial just by sticking your head under the back of the car, so if it’s not with them now you can confirm yourself. No, chopped it in back in June for an M240i Convertible - S1 money, RS3 performance, and the roof goes down! I am missing Quattro a bit with the current weather...

    Haldex issues

Given you are taking about a matter of days then get forceful and involve Audi UK early. You should be fine to get it sorted FOC if it is the pump and in the faulty serial range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Haldex issues

Haldex pump failure is common on your age S1. Definitely get it fixed for free under good will as only just out of warranty and it’s a known problem. There is a serial number sequence they fixed it at, I’ll see if I can find it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    High Beam Assist

I made mine more sensitive using VCDS. It’s a balancing act though as too sensitive and reflections from road signs dips them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    High Beam Assist

No they don’t If you have it then pushing the stalk away is all you need to do. There is an extra full beam symbol with an ‘A’ in it that comes up on the DIS screen. From what I’ve seen it’s quite a rare option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking to get an S1 Anything I need to know?

As above it’s a trade off. Most people go the Sachs route, they have a couple of performance options, some heavier than others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    S1 DEAD

It’s a daily joke on the FB S1 Group about how many things go wrong with them! Snapped half shafts, clutches, brakes, blow engines, all sorts! Obviously plenty will never see an issue, but from what I’ve seen a surprising number do have problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    S1 DEAD

Most owners have spent more time in courtesy cars than their own. I know some who have gone through multiple engines. So no, sorry! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Debadge S1, make it as look normal as possible. 4 steps. Help needed

    1. Yes hairdryer and dental floss 2. Pretty sure it just pulls off 3. Black tips denote sport exhaust in Audi world, A1’s have the same Chrome tips (just on one side) 4. Again, A1’s have the same lights with DRL’s. And for safety (many blind idiots on the road) I’d be turning the rear’s on as...

    s1 clutch HELP

Yes, it will have a TD1 flag triggered in the ECU. They will very likely know. Especially as the clutches are known to fail the second you remap them. Warranty only covers clutches to 6k miles anyway so if you are over that you are definitely not going to get anywhere. Sent from my iPhone...
