Alcantara is a bad idea on steering wheels, especially in areas where the wheel is normal held. If it were me I would have it retrimmed in all leather. Royal Steering Wheels will do an excellent job.
Has anyone had their alignment checked at WIM in Chesham. WIM are experts and will be able to advise if there are any geometry issues on your cars. My guess is that Audi dealers are doing the alignments to the Audi spec but its wrong.
No I mean on the OP's mat the embroidery looks like it is on a panel that is then attached to the carpet whereas the photo I posted has the embroidery direct on the carpet.
This is why I don't buy new cars anymore. Let someone else have the hit on depreciation and buy something 5 years or more older that is either stable in value or increasing.
I hear what you are saying, i enjoy driving my S5 but when driving my Mercedes SL it feels much more of an occasion. The S5 beats the SL on performance and gadgets but the SL is just such a joy to sit in, despite being 10 years older.
Any Porsche will be in a different class to any Audi. I have often thought about getting a Cayman S or a 997 Carrera S and will surely have one in my garage in the future.
Personally i would inflate the tyres well above their normal psi to avoid flat spots and stand the tyres on carpet mats.
Why are you storing it for winter, why not just use it.
Do you have breakdown insurance? If so call them out! Worst case scenario is they can't fix it and will transport the car to a garage of your choosing.
I think the point is that when you take out a PCP you sign a contract that states all servicing will only be carried out at Audi approved service centres. It's nothing to do with competition laws its all about contract law. Did you read the T's&C's before agreeing to them? Whatever anyone here...
