when I got my RS3 in 2016 Audi replaced 2 sets of wavy & both warped ... 3rd time fitted circular & they were fine for the remaining 3.5 years I owned the car.

Totally agree ... the current (facelift) RS3 is bang on the money ... I even considered getting one as my next car (to replace my pre FL RS3). But as i had the car 4 years, a face lift as nice as they are might not feel different enough for another 4 years. the new A class had turned my head...

I have to concur on the dash / vents. mite a huge departure from the usual Audi classy interior and just looks unbalanced & dis jointed plus those vents truly are vulgar. exterior looks like it will be fine & power could be up to 440 bhp which is cool but not sure I could cope with that...

The wider fronts are a LOT dearer too !

Not sure if it is the audio quality or distance away from the car but it sounded very muted to me. Hopefully up closer to the car it will be a lot better sounding with the distinctive 5 cylinder sound.

Ah I thought you were talking about the main dash trim. Yeah I get your point, but I like gloss black rather than even shinier silver trim ... gloss black matches the black pack on the exterior so it all matches in imo.

On the last A class I would agree with that but on the new one (A45 anyway) the trim is not shiny black and Merc have used some high grade premium materials. This is the only picture I have but there is a really nice perforated effect matt black trim that runs along the dash which is really...

The screen is very high res and looks pin sharp and bright :icon thumright: Loads of personalisatuion available too - its very slick. I was a bit aprehensive at first thinking it could be a bit too much, but having had it a few weeks now, I'm enjoying the choice available.

Yeah that concerned me ... but touch wood not a single rattle or squeak. It really does feel rock solid build quality. Unless the factory had a good day when they built my car :)

Yes Guys ... the car as an overall package in terms of exterior visuals / interior cabin / premium feel / performance / incredible tech & high quality screens ... it’s an amazing car ... it is just the sound. That said ... some owners are saying the sound gets better as more miles go on ... but...

Overall package mate ... car does sound good just not as good as my pre fl RS3 ... but as an overall car it’s awesome I love it ... it feels like it should cost £100k inside the cabin & externally it’s mean and has a great wide stance but not in yah face being none aero ... & boy it can shift...

I’ve recently switched to an A45s after owning an RS3. The only thing I miss is the sound ... everything else is on a new level, albeit I owned a pre face lift. I’m sure the new RS3 will level things up though :icon thumright: I’d also had Audi’s for 12 years so a change may not be a bad...
