Looking on autotrader there are a few cars similar price, good specs and lower mileage. The RS is a sought after car but there are lots available in the market and garages will be desperate to shift stock at the moment, I’d be looking at lower mileage cars and put in an offer at least 10% below...

At least the X3 is a good looking car, bit more class. What I like about the RS3, previous 4, 5 and RS6 was that they were very much sleeper cars, the latest generation of Audi RS SUV's models are so in your face and a bit too try hard. Audi still make some very nice cars, TT, A5 variants...

Have you read the RSQ3 reviews, it’s being absolutely slated for price, ride, finish v’s it’s rivals from Alfa and Porsche. It’s one of the tackiest looking cars out there.

You’d think so unless he’s a named driver instead. It’s crazy what some will pay for insurance etc to have a nice car when young.

Will be interesting if the uptake on the diesel 4/5 will pay off, I know what you mean it’s not a positive step for an S car, should have been branded SD4.

B7 might have just been the slowest but I love the sound of that V8. S4 diesel no slouch is it.

Had an S3 and current shape TT but not an RS. The TT is a much better looking car, better handling and one of the best Audi interiors. The boot with seats down is surprisingly big. You could always keep your car and borrow the money for home improvements.

Yeh let’s remove the filters and allow more pollution into the air we breath.....

If Audi aren’t paying much attention to this it may be worth contacting watchdog, @AudiNutta you have a lot of evidence now, Audi might begin to listen if they realise you’ve gone another route.

I don’t think anything is invisible these days, it’s funny how these companies all quote completely safe etc etc but won’t give you any kind of cover should it go wrong.

Fair enough, I might have bit then but really don’t like that people sell on cars hiding the history whether it’s back to the dealer or s private sale. Agree it’s the buyers responsibility to ask and maybe some are just to naive. I wouldn’t say my comment is bitchy, just tired off people...

What a lovely chap you are, I couldn’t be happy knowing somebody has a potential huge bill on their hands when it goes bang.
