    Downpipe and cat

Does anybody know if the catalytic converter on the RS3 8V is valuable to scrap? Wondering whether to eBay my old downtube or take the CAT to a metal recycling plant? Cheers.

Nice little interior upgrade if you're feeling brave...

I might go to my fabric trimmers and see if they can do the job including removal and refit of the knee pads!

Nice little interior upgrade if you're feeling brave...

Are you planning to remove the knee pads with the centre console in situ? I want to do this mod. I have the SS seats with grey stitch so would plan to have the knee pads done in alcantara but grey stitching.

    Rear Anti-Roll Bar upgrade advice

Haven't covered many miles in my PFL since H&R rear roll bar fitted but turn in does seem sharper. Possibly less body roll also.

    Red vents grey stitching

Any pics of the knee pads please? I'm considering getting my leather trimmer to replicate these. Should be an easy job. I thought they were done in alcantara from the factory? Thanks.

Thinking of Buying PFL 2016 Rs3

I have a 2016 PFL and agree with the above. I came from a hybrid turbo MK7 Golf R with no engine sound and no soul for me. The RS some days I feel sounds like a V8 and some days sounds like a V10! Mine is running MRC stage 2 and I don't think I will ever get bored of the car for the sound...

    Yellow RS badges

Thanks, it's just the square part that is usually red on the RS cars, I think somebody must sell stickers/overlays? Thanks.

    Yellow RS badges

Evening all, has anyone seen where you can buy yellow RS badges/stickers/overlays? Seen them on a few cars, look good but can't find them on ebay or online. Thanks.

    Facelift alcantara gearknob

Same seller I was looking at, there is another seller and for £10 more you get a new leather base which I thought was a no brainer! Thanks.

    Facelift alcantara gearknob

Thanks for the reply, and tip on the latch. Did you order from eBay or Audi? My leather is fine, just prefer alcantara. On eBay you can buy the gearknob or the gearknob with also the leather base think I'll go for a new leather base with it as will make fitting easier.

    Facelift alcantara gearknob

Hi all, just wondering if anybody has fitted the facelift gearknob to their PFL car? I would like to do this, I would expect it to be a simple swop but always best to ask on here first if anyone has done it! Thanks.

    Rear Anti-Roll Bar upgrade advice

Hi mate, I bought this last week and is being fitted this week. You haven't noticed any issues with the back end being unpredictable then? Is your car lowered? Mine is stock ride height PFL. Thanks.

    H&R rear ARB

    Just on springs? Eibach?
  17. millsy75

    H&R rear ARB

Thanks, sounds great. Have you lowered your car? I'm hesitant to do it. My daily is lowered about 30mm and I have to hit speed humps below 10mph which I don't enjoy, also wheel spacers look good but I worry about road rash up the sides and scraping issues.

    H&R rear ARB

Thanks for the feedback, there's no downside to this mod is there? Doesn't make the back end unstable in any way does it?

    H&R rear ARB

I have a H&R rear ARB to be fitted to my PFL and I didn't intend on lowering the car (springs) or adding wheel spacers. I'm guessing part numbers would be the same for the RS3 8V FL or PFL then when it comes to rear ARB

    H&R rear ARB

Sorry, I mustn't have been clear in what I meant. I was asking have people ran the ARB on lowered suspension or stock ride height.
