Ok ive found the problem,it was the adapter lead,dynamic sounds have supplied me with the wrong one,i have the full bose lead to a half bose system,no wonder it didnt work.

Dont see why it wownt work then,but you will need to wire in a relay...if yours is like mine the stereo stays on until the key is removed? If so theres how to on here,but like i said the a3s im unsure about...you may be able to tap into somewhere,but not for the a4 owners. im sure there would...

I have just done my kiv701 you need to read the book it tells you in there. it took me a while.if you have read the book,try the online pdf or google it you may get a video or an easier link,they dont make it easy to follow do they.

Not sure on A3S but do you have an amplified setup ie Bose? you will have to check that.
