Speak to dynamic sounds. I got mine sorted in the end using a connect2 connector. They give good advice as well.

It’s a matter of opinion as always with audio equipment. But as we’re only discussing either alpine or vibe, alpine all day long.

I’d go for alpine all day long. I’ve had both alpine and vibe in the past and can say alpine are far better speakers. They have mush more detail and dynamic range and will swing with that size amp.

Which connectors did you use ?
On the b7 the concert head unit is about 30watts and the rear speakers b and rear speakers the same.
With the after market head unit I have the head unit is 40 watt and still the rear speakers and sub sent driven by the head unit and as such there is only 30...
Same as my b7. That’s the amp for the sub and rear speakers.
On the b7 the new head unit I put in is 50watts per channel but the Audi sub amp is only 20watts hence the high volume at the front speakers and low at the back. Best is to run a cable from your new head unit to the rear speakers, at...
Are the rear speakers powered by a separate amp in the back ? On the A4 b7 it is. If yours is powered from the rear amp you’ll have to run cables for the rear speaker from your stereo.

You’ll wanna amp any upgrade speakers to get the best sound especially if you’re using the oem head unit which is crap. If you change the head unit to an aftermarket you’ll have to run speaker cables from the head unit to the rear speakers.

I've not orders them yet but been advised that this is what's needed.
As my car has / had a oem hand free phone, I just need to find out if the oem microphone will work from the head unit or if I need another aftermarket microphone...
