Has anybody had to do this on their 8Y yet? Just got a warning today to replace my key fob battery, the car is a little over 1 year old… surely they aren’t only supposed to last a year? I've just had a warning flash up on my dashboard saying "Max engine speed 4000rpm", the check engine warning light came on and started flashing and the whole rpm gage went red. It only came on for about 5 seconds then went off again so I didn't manage to get a pic, but I found one online similar...

Are you referring to the MMI or VC? If MMI, I always have song artist and title displayed?

I've managed to do it! Followed @MA3RC's instructions as above and worked first time no problem... Got the device on their black friday sale, ended up only costing £50 for the device, code and international shipping - very happy with it!

Yes, mine also starts when the car in front pulls away (DSG, no ACC and foot still on the brake) it has done this for me ever since I got it, thought this was a standard feature of the car??? And yes my pre-sense brakes for me quite regularly, scares the **** out of me as it's a little over...

Literally noticed the other day that mine creaks, as I closed my drivers door I heard a squeak - I starting pressing the black trim part and it was creaking. Not sure if this is normal or not though...

What part are you referring to? The climate control screen itself? You don't have the boot false floor? That should be standard across every A3... I'd speak to Audi about that as that hasn't been removed AFIK...

They're some deep groves... trip to the dealer for them definitely.
