Ag Agree with most of what you're saying but the 1-5 tfsi 150 bhp in a car the size/weight of an A3 would not be a thrilling drive thats for sure.why isn’t there an A3 equivalent of a Golf gti? 265 bhp is perfect

Only Purple Audi pearlescent paints l know of you've mentioned above....rest of the purples are flat paints ...most colours on Porsche cars are available on Audi's, so have a look on the Porsche configurator as they list a lot choices when specifying colour, as for lead times if things go back...

One thing you've not taken into consideration is the 8Y will get a slight facelift externally plus some well needed interior improvements these improvements will be revealed in the 2nd half of 2023

Anyone that's just ordered/about to order and is in for a long wait maybe interested that a face lifted 8Y will be introduced this time next year so maybe hold off if it's such a thing is important to yourself?

No where near as popular as the RS3 world wide the S3 8Y imo is a big disappointment....a poor attempt hence most PREVIOUS Audi S3 owners have ******** off elsewhere myself included hence the 8Y section is almost deserted now

i had a similar dilemma when l first got new replacement tyres for the front of my S3... national tyres fitted the wrong type of Pzeros so l had 2 different tyres fitted but being a tyre snob l got rid of them..i suggest you wane yourself off Bridgestones and go onto Pirelli or Michelin far...
