    Winter tyres , remember that debacle ! During that debate someone said that any tyre summer or winter not recommended by the manufacturer could actually be classed as a non standard modification ? As above speak to your insurer , not worth the risk ....

    The two mirrors you posted are completely different , does your 2010 one look like the top one, which seems to fit under the car trim , or the bottom one , which goes beside it , non of the silver goes into it ?

    Quite pricey for a private sale I would say , nice looking car though . Why has it had an S3 kit fitted , a lot of the time the reason for this is because of crash damage , so standard items are upgraded when replaced . One of e mots mentions sill damage ?

    The bolts in the link are 45mm , you might need slightly shorter depending on the size of the spacers .

    You can get longer locking nuts thats no problem . Is it not an AA warranty , if so you should be able to go to any Vat registered garage, most warranties offer this, I have autocare warranty on mine, and my mini had another which both allowed this .

    It failed its mot on modified front stub axle , and has had a couple of tyre walls in advisories as well , maybe needs a proper laser align done too ?

    Check the spacers are hub-centric as well , could cause vibration if they are not ? To be honest sounds a bit dodgy to me, someone had the car a week and went back with it , that would ring a few alarm bells for me. Looks like a stunner though !

    If you have a serious accident and injury , or god forbid , kill someone then you would be in some serious **** if your insurance company pull cover ! Declare everything, not worth the risk. insurance companies actively check for remaps now .

    Facelift has improved haldex as well , I would think you would easily get a facelift for 10k , I would get a facelift if you can tbh .... Different display in the dash , flat bottom wheel, it all adds up to be quite different ...
