Im going to buy a new MAF next month and see if this cures it. Its about the only thing I havent replaced, my cars had new injectors, spark plugs, DV, coil packs and a decocke.
Did anyone ever get to the cause of this? My A4 2.0 TFSI does this sometimes when pulling away. I've replaced most maintenance items, only thing I haven't renewed is the MAF, so thinking could be this.
Is there a benefit to getting it rolled back "pre-fix"? I was looking at getting a Bluefin and one reviewer mentioned the map taking theres back to "pre-fix" state.
Yeah this is my second and the second with cluth judder. Seems to be a common problems with Audis looking on google. I might stick with them for my next car though as I want a DSG anyway. Much better for the commute!
Yeah I was interested in the android units but heard too many mixed reviews and people also said poor sound quality. Can't go wrong with a decent brand.
Thanks mate. Yeah all the OEM stuff works: BOSE and Steering Wheel controls. I will be adding a reverse camera to it soon. Its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible so you can run satnav and everything from it.
Its this unit...
Thats handy to know! So about another 60k of life left in it. I dooubt ill have the car that long anyway tbh.
Thats a bit of a nightmare. Aye you're best taking it out on the weekend and giving it the chance to complete. Once mines started I always extend my journey until its finished like...
Yeah i presumed it only going down to 24% meant it was a quarter full of its projected lifespan. How often does yours regen? Mine does it every week, so about every 200 miles.
Cheers guys. I dont really want to put an external aerial on the car tbh. Looks like theres no solution for a decent internal aerial. The FM/DAB splitters you can get would have been perfect but they wont work with our standard aerial as im pretty sure theyre amplified.
Yeah mate I have the earth strap going behing the A-Pillar trim to the metal underneath. Aerial is situated in the top left corner of the windscreen. Im not sure if interferance could be a cause? Although im not sure how I'd check for that.
I've installed a new Kenwood Double DIN with DAB and also fitted a Kenwood DAB aerial to the passenger side of the front windscreen. The DAB works but the signal strength is poor and the signal keeps coming and going. Anyone got experience with DAB aerials? Do I need a better aerial? Better...
Im in similar situation, mine was also done in 2015. Im going to phone Audi and check the time intervals, as in my book it just lists a mileage interval of 133,000!
What was the date of the last timing belt change? As it should be done on time or mileage whichever comes first. I believe the time period is arund 4/5 years.
Good that you can finally read your DPF values now. When mine completes its regens the filter stays 24% full. Not sure what the actual soot value is at this level though without checking. I figure I've got plenty life in it yet like you have.
I think if i have any issues or problems with the...
I swaped out the filter and left the diesel in there. Then primed multiple times with VCDS to ensure it was brimmed and no air in there. Started up first turn of key without any issues. As long as you prime it fully it will be fine.
