Well you probably wont miss me tbh, i went to the autodrome yesterday, then ponte, they wakie and didnt see another 207 lol.. was just an ST/RS day yesterday!
It had done 165k and was starting to cause me problems, wanted an S3 but couldnt afford it so bought the 207 which has been a good...
Im off next weekend, group i was with yesterday was an orange ST, blue STI, corsa VXR and a few others... i dont have an audi anymore got rid over a year ago, got a ltd edition peugeot 207 similar to the GTI but will say hello regardless (awaiting french hate)
I cant think of any known issues really that are a common problem, the cars seem super reliable in that sense. Theres the dual mass flywheel problem but i doubt thatll be the case @ 49k, mine didnt go until 140k lol!
when my DMF was going it clattered like hell and the clutch began to slip...
tricky to explain, its behind the engine compartment bulkhead kinda central underneath the windshield, gots to remove the wiper arms and cowl panel to get to it, what ya removing it for?
And i have considered a remap but i know the pd105 has got a **** small turbo as standard and i think it wouldnt handle the extra boost from mapping to 140ish
As per title :D
I wanna look into cutting costs of upgrading to a new car and potentially save some money by upgrading the one i have, as i regularly return around 50mpg and it only costs £120 a year to tax, and the running costs are cheap.
I have tried doing a bit of research, and there...
i drove mine when the flywheel was going, rattled to bits and got bits of **** in the starter motor so that packed in aswell, which could cost you another 200 nicker dependant on how ya go about fixing it.
I replaced my flywheel with a light weight solid one, you can hear it clatter on tick...
any pics? surely audi would have good enough quality control to prevent cars being fitted with bubbled lami!
was there 'bubbles' in the glass when you bought the car, or have they only appeared? if the laminate is bubbled it could have only happened in the manufacturing process, im gonna be a...
Yeah i have also heard that apple bluetooth aint compatible with devices and applications need specific bluetooth programming.
another thing i found its useful for is the instant MPG, my car has the digital display on the dash but takes ages to refresh, where as the one on torque is actually...
Wow, thats over 3x the power of my car lol...
I spose you couldnt say the app is accurate without doing some dyno runs, but its safe to say it can give a very rough estimate
What stage 2+ supposed to be s?
And certainly acheron, i had this problem too, this is the link to the one i bought, excellent quality and the ****** window would be more likely to drop out than the mount would, good price too

S. - please can you put the max bhp reading you got from torque pro into this calculator?
Wheel Horsepower to Crankshaft Horsepower Guestimator
Obviously just tick the boxes that apply, please can you msg back on here or pm me the results as im really interested to see :P
S. - yeah its a shame oil temp doesnt work neither does the transmission temp, but works on some other cars! And im positive its wheel horse power, hence why it gives you a lower reading as the you lose BHP through transmission loss, i will link you a guestimator piece of kit to test your bhp as...
this app is still in development aswell, so more to come and new features always being added, the value for money is crazy. You cant fully appreciate the app without actually using it yourself and seeing all the information it provides and the features it has. I would recommend it to anyone who...
apparently you can get bhp through vag-com
Working out the BHP from VAGCOM. - TorqueCars car forums
i imagine it uses a similar formula/method
as i say on my friends astra the bhp was accurate to a couple of BHP as we knew his BHP before we tested it on the app, as for the reading on my car...
not 100% sure but i dont think so, Apple devices dont seem to be compatible with anything, and not much opportunity for developers to release this kind of thing onto the apple store
For anyone unaware of what Torque Pro is, it is an application available on Android handsets, which connects with your vehicles ECU via a bluetooth adapter. This gives you masses of information and also allows you to run diagnostics on your vehicle and clear fault codes, and also gives you plug...
