Over the 3yrs I had my S3 I averaged around 27.
However on motorway runs I could quite often get 39mpg.
I even managed to get 38mpg out of my TTRS the other week on a 25mile motorway run. Find me another 420bhp car that will do that return!!
You have to earth the Bose pin in order to activate the equaliser set for Bose otherwise it will use the standard equaliser settings as if you didn't have Bose.

To be fair mines only 16mths so will get at least a few years out the RS.
Plus I just sit even closer to the wheel when she is in (which isnt that often!) which gives her more room!
Im in the same predicament for the RS and looks like I'll be getting the dension gateway 300 unit. Plugs into back of radio and gives you track/album names across the dis on the dash and charging.
Cheapest option and works well!
You need to do what is known as a 'double din' conversion.
Ie you only have the single cd and no room to fit the Nav unit, you would have if you had the larger radio unit going by your description.
Do a google search on Audi retrofits and all will be revealed.

Coded it and got the options via dis but lights won't activate after flashing the main beam?!
The DRL is def the one for a car without auto lights combined with the light/rain sensor pack. My dads 10 plate has this switch and he doesn't have those options.
