Hey guys
Need to buy a couple of parts for my 08 s3, breather control valve and gasket but when looking online lots of places seem to only serve trade.
Anyone got any names of suppliers who supply genuine parts at reasonable prices to the general public?
thanks.
Hi guys
Can anyone recommend a good bodywork specialist I can trust for some touch ups to my s3.
I've got a major rock chip on my bonnet and with the winds today a piece of plastic flew across the road straight into my bumper and has caused a few gashes!
Not necessarily looking for cheap but...
Hi GuysI've had my S3 since new (Mar 2008) and have not updated the firmware or software for the rnse. Car is going in for service with Audi soon and wondered if it's something they do as I'm keen to update the nav DVD and wondered if firmware will allow the use of sdhc cards?Any advice/help...
Just about to buy some new front tyres for my s3 - is it important to keep them the same as the ones on the back? Then maybe change all 4 next time to something new?
The back ones aren't that worn compared with the front so doesn't warrant changing all 4!
Current on sport contact 2's but...
Hi guys
Am really pi55ed off with myself. Misjudged putting my s3 into the garage last night and hit the metal door frame on my front passenger bumper and whhrl arch. Wondered if anyone knew any good body and paint repairers in or around Bristol.
I have only put in normal 85 ron in mine since new, it has about 3,500 miles on it now and after reading the threads - V Power seems the way to go for the S3 performance wise.
Will the fact that I have been using 95 ron so far affect the long term performance?
Also should i run the fuel tank...

The valeting is shocking, just took mine back to get...
Make sure you tell your insurance company everything you added as an extra otherwise it is usually not insured, if your car is a total loss they will only replace with a new car without the mods.
I went through all the posts regarding this when I was insuring my new S3.
With regards to GAP...

After speaking with one of the managers at Sheila's wheels she informed me that what I was told was rubbish and my cd changer and sat nav as they were factory fitted were not mods and it was covered as part of my policy.
It shows you that most of the sales people don't know what they are...
Thats exactly it, I want to be covered for everything on the car but i don't think its far to class the rns-e and the cd changer as mods when they are optional extras!
However I would rather pay the extra and have them covered.
I also want to make sure that its all in writing what is covered...
