Your turbo could have been close to the end of its life before the remap and having it mapped has just highlighted it. You could also have a slight leak in the system somewhere as that can tend to cause a whistling. Smoke or pressure test the charge system, that will tell if you have a leak...
My friend is changing his cam belt and thought he'd do the water pump while he's there. He's read some where that you need to pressurise the water system and keep it pressurised. Is this true and how are you meant to do that?
You would of been much better off if you got a proper remap.
Standard: 138bhp 236 lb/ft
Tuning box gains: 167bhp 286 lb/ft
Remap: 201bhp 311 lb/ft
A remapped car is also a much better car to drive.
I personally think the logo is too large on the ones you linked to. SuperKarl on the 8L section bought a set of these the other day n said they are much better in person, the pictures don't do them justice.

A remap that I supply courtesy of celtic tuning will take the bhp from 261 to 310 and the torque from 258 lbft to 303 lbft. Done an 08 model the other week n the guy absolutely loves it.
