Hi, I’ve just purchased a second key fob for my S3 as I’ve only ever had one key for the car. The fob won’t unlock and when I try to start the car with new key the engine cuts outs and goes into safe mode. I’m assuming that the immobiliser is kicking in. Can I program the new key to work fully...

Cheers for that, I can’t clear it because before it fully completes searching for faults I get a comms error saying no response from controller

Change byte 18 from 2b to 2c and rear lights have come on with DRL’s :icon thumright: Just to clarify tho, are the number plate lights suppose to come on too?

Just recently had my S3 remapped stage 1 and noticed this fault code last night. Is it normal after a remap?

Nice one thank you. I’ve plugged vcds in just to check for errors in 09 central elect which has brought a few up, one being the number plate bulb but before it finishes doing its search I get a comms error & I can’t even clear the codes :rage:

Sorry guys as I’m sure it’s been asked before. I installed 2 led canbus error free bulbs for the number plate last Sunday on my 2010 S3 and it’s been fine however today when I’ve put car into drive an error bulb has appeared on the dash and I think it said number plate light. I’ve got out to...

Sorry to jump on old thread but thought I’d try this with the repair wire but when I’ve removed the trim underneath steering column I can only see 3 banks of plugs A B & C. Where’s E located?

Yeah he’s mobile but his head office is in Rochdale. He does custom remaps and diagnostic’s.

The lad’ll come back and tweak the file to factor any additional mods I put on and alter the map accordingly. I was just wondering if it was worth the expense/time to install an air induction was all or just stick with the standard air filter. Don’t think I’ve any plans to go beyond stage 1...
