I wasn't comparing a 106 to an audi in anyway, I was simply saying that I used an omex rev limiter. FYI the 106 would have kicked my cars *** and its been mapped to about 220. still don't see why a launch control on a diesel would make a difference considering the turbo kicks in almost straight...

I used to have an omex rev limiter and launch control on my 106, that had hard and soft cut. I cant understand why you would put one on a diesel though?

TDI TIM seems to give good info, On another note.... Can use a scotch pad and key the surface, this will also remove a bit more paint... If you find yourself some plastic primer, and some black paint... You shouldn't need to clear coat it unless you want gloss. IMO gloss wouldn't look to good...

I had my plates made, im sure there like 11" x 3" or something Never been stopped yet. as far as im aware as long as font is correct height, font and spacing, and there is an 11mm gap around outside of plate, youre fine! grey area it seems to be though.
