No, it's not the stock. It's a fiberglas thing from ebay. A few more guys here have this diffuser too. I have not seen a better alternative for a 8P so far.
For 2008 A3 2.0 TDI 16V, engine BKD, 3 door, non-quattro:

SPORTLINE: E20-15-007-02-22
Do not trust me blindly, rather use the link to the catalogue provided above and check this information out.
Mine sits the same on both sides. Are you sure yours was on a level ground when you measured it. Try measuring at another place, perhaps an underground or a multi-story parking lot.
I doesn't have much of a drop to even think of rubbing. My car has been lowered 6 mm more (-31 mm off a stock ride hight) on VWR springs for two years before I replaced them with Eibach Pro and I had the same wheels with 5 mm spacers which made it ET45 that time, and I still didn't have any...
The sline diffuser looks a lot better than the SE one anyway. I know two more A3 owners with this diffuser, one of them is a member of this forum, @Dikonou. He painted it black.
Edit: I just saw a red A3 hatch with this diffuser right up this page, post #5306.
It was a replacement for the SE diffuser, but you can also say that it was a replacement for the S-line diffuser because both SE and S-line 8P Sportbacks have the same rear bumper.
If you want lower, go for Sportlines as they offer more drop. My A3 was 7-8 mm lower on VWR springs with the same B4 shocks as it's now on Pros. But suspension was firmer too and I'm getting older, so replaced the VWR with the Eibach Pro for comfort's sake after two years. I tell you about my...
The B6 would keep your car 5-7 mm higher than the oem shocks. I have the B4 and Eibach Pro and the drop was 25 mm only (not 30 mm promised by Eibach). There are a lot of pictures in this thread.
BTW, during two weeks of trying to sell it, I received 0 (zero) calls other than a text from a middleman and an offer from a car dealer from who I considered to buy a pre-owned 8V Saloon. Other than that - silence. I priced it according to specs (though there isn't a single 8P S line for sale in...
I remapped the car one year ago. The re-mapper was a reputable retrofitter who resell the maps written by a known Danish tuner. The system is like REVO when you upload pre-written software. The guy who did it for me didn't have a dyno, so I didn't know the "before" numbers.
The result I posted...
If the s-line ride height is -25 mm off the SE, the Pro kit should lower it by 5 mm as they promise -30 mm off the SE. However, if you use the Pro kit with the Bilstein B4 instead of the oem shocks, you shouldn't expect any more lowering. Due Bilstein's gas pressure technology that they use in...
