Just tried the SDS hack with the ISO's linked earlier in this thread and no luck. It went through the motions and now reads v220. My RNS-E 193G is HW version H06.
Mark cls you're a top bloke for sharing this info the forum, really appreciate it! This what forums are all about, sharing the knowledge. I have downloaded the two ISO files which are linked in earlier posts and burnt them at the slowest speed (x6) I can with my software.I'll be giving it a go soon.
Yep that was my question too. Is the firmware upgrade really that smart that it checks for the mic hardware? I imagine it's possible that it checks for the coding of the hardwired mic so maybe just need to make sure the mic is coded in before the upgrade?
Very impressed you guys (or some of you) have got this hack to work on a 193G. I was led to believe that there was an eprom mod required to do this on the 193G unlike the 193B and 193H (not 100% on those letters) which have the correct eproms but hey, happy days if it's not!
Is it mandatory to...
That looks like it would work but shipped to Australia is unfortunately too expensive.
Any tricks to running a wire down the pillar? Can it be fed without removing head lining?
Makes sense yes but thought the sun roof was on switched but then remembered I could operate it with the key fob. That is till my battery went flat and now can't operate the roof remotely any longer but that's a separate problem!
I've installed a dash cam behind the rear view mirror and now I'm after switched power from the dome light. There's around seven wires to choose from and my volt meter can't touch the the wires inside the connector due to the small openings to the pins. Anyone have a wiring diagram or know what...
My low pitched went kaput while my S3 was under warranty. Mechanic said it was a common problem as the horns faced forward and filled up with water and crap. I got two new ones which he said he mounted facing backwards. They are now plenty loud enough.
Not sure what you mean "upgraded"? I have standard OEM RS3 rotor wheels (19" ET50).
Also I'm a bit confused with the OP's first post as the subject is "TTRS brakes on an S3 fitment guide" but first line says RS3 not TTRS - "As you know, I had 4 sets of 19's and below you can see what did and...
Nice work jamesS4cab.
Can anyone offer an opinion on whether OEM RS3 rotors will fit (19" 8j ET50) around TTRS disk and caliper setup? I note jamesS4cab says he's tried BBS with same specs which don't fit.
This is LaminX their lightest tint. Not sure if it's legal here is Oz. I've been pulled over a couple of times for other reasons and I haven't had an issue with the cop however I do drive with DRL's on so the tint is not noticeable.
