Sorted now, wasn't battery something with fuel problem, was painful but got it firing...lots of smoke involved

Its not electrical as left for about 20mins and nearly turned over and fired, then tried again after and sounded like no hope again

Hi, just accidentally started car after sitting 2 weeks in gear and now it wont turn over. Doesn't sound like a battery problem or any faults on dash just wont turn over at all. Cars a 2006 2.0 TDI S Line A3 Any Ideas as need to get it going asap?

Ill have a closer look tomorrow at the backing plate...as for the springs I have fitted coilovers last week and nothing untoward showed up. Had noise before and after

I had a play with that and all tight, checked as much as i could on axel stands underneath and nothing making that loose rattling sound i could find, can't have a clue what it could be

Hi I have a 2006 S Line 3 door with 97,000 Miles, since picked up the car there has been a metallic rattle which is quite loud from underneath the car. It occurs when going over rough ground and bumps. Jacked car on axle stands today and nothing is loose underneath (heat shields, brackets etc.)...

Had my MOT last week so havent got to worry about it for a while, my dads mate has garage so would just pop it through anyway...at the end of the day its my car my decision and my preference

Im not going to spend however much on a cable to find something like this out...hence why I'm using a forum. And saying how I qualifiy for Uni is a stupid thing to say, especially as a lot of mods ive seen aren't necessarily 'road legal'

Im going to uni in september and running the car with stance for looks basically as will be in garage for high percentage of the year, i have seen a few a3s now with the option on and would just like to know how it is done, i will run them at my own risk
