Interesting... I had an 8L model and it was a bit the same. Took the info from the stickies to sort the suspension and completely re engaged with the car. It really came alive.

Spin, I keep the car on the variable service scheme, not earlier or anything special. It tells me when it needs servicing and I service it. Works out between 15-18k between services.

I have 110k miles since my superchips remap, and its driven hard for most of that time (hours at 100mph+ on autobahns.. Ediburgh-Zurich in one shot for instance). No misfires whatsoever. Still running like a train.
I have every confidence in Superchips. (and no I dont work for them).
I have been driving a pd130 for 105k Superchipped miles... still on the original clutch...
Traffic light gp's and stop start conditions would see it off quicker I reckon...

Is an option to remove the filter for a straight through pipe from powerflow or some such and use a small resistorto fool the sensor..?

Yours is an 8P which is more plug and play... The 8L is more work. I tied mine in with a visit to Manchester to see Craig who supplied and fitted it. Well worth the travel to get the job done professionally. So in a word, fitted in Scotland... not sure.
