    Finance

Have you paid more than half of the finance off? If you have you can simply return the car to the finance company. So if you have paid half or more and the value of the car is less than what is owed you can return the vehicle and be quids in. I have personally done this. I had 2000 outstanding...

Debadged and took the lacquer off!!

Hair dryer and WD40. In fact I washed the car with WD40 to get rid of tar spots. It was superb. Followed that with a snow foam, rinse, shampoo, rinse, dry and polish. WD removes anything sticky and is not too harsh. Just be careful around the wheels!!!!!!! Discs dont like it!!!! :asskicking:

Saw my first casualty of this years snow!!

As soon as he digs it out he is off and running!!!! Why can some people just not grasp the benefit of winter tyres. Its like they dont want to believe it and its black magic and lies!!!! Some people just should not be out in these conditions. I say again if you are not confident dont drive...

Saw my first casualty of this years snow!!

I am amazed at the amount of people who do not understand the concept of winter tyres. They ar convinced that its the car thats at fault. Yet i point out that a huge number of Scandanavians drive large capacity performance rear wheel drive cars and have no isses whatsoever in conditions far far...

I had my 335d M Sport during the bad winter in 2010. I regularly drove untreate roads i the wee early hours. No issues at all. I...

Saw my first casualty of this years snow!!

Agree completely. Winter tyres, sensible driving and snowy conditions are a breeze. Even my BMW 335d managed one of the worst winters i can remember with not a slide or twitch. THe Scandanavians can all be wrong!!!! They drive large powerful rear drives but with the addition of common sense and...

    Winter tyres

Get them off and keep them for winter. You should only fit them as a full set anyway.

    REMAPS Late 2009 onwards

Just had mine revo'd. Yes it did require ecu out. They tried to do it via the port but this just locked up something in the software. It didn't take long to do the other way though. Well happy!!!

Taking one for the team: Revo Stage 1 Case Study on S3 8P3 (MY2012)

I am glad to see I am not the only one getting tire of all the REVO doubters and haters. Over on the A4 B8 page there has been a lot of discussion around REVO remaps. I just had my 2.0 TFSI Quattro done and love it. 200 miles or so done and no issues so far. As the original post stated. The car...

High MPG - Can it be believed?!

U write that on with a pen?? Lol. I had a chipped 335d M Sport that did 53mpg. 360 HP with 640 Nm torque AND 50+ mpg (taking easy of course). The A4 2.0 TFSI quattro is not quite so frugal!!!
