yes I wanted to remove the entire grab handle, but was worried I will never be able to get the bolt back in the holds the rear of the handle (the one under the climate control) - I have the double hight DIN stereo and there is not much room under there to get a tool to undo the bolt let alone...

unable to align the bolt with the hole - it is very strange - when looking directly down from the top I can sometimes align the bolt top with the hole but it is about 4mm from the actual hole i.e. it is below the hole, no amount of pushing will allow the bolt to move up any further - it is stuck...

yup it should just push up and in but for some strange reason it won't push up enough - sticks out about 10mm then when you let go it drops out fully as shown in the photo ... hey ho - looks like Audi will have to sort it out when it goes in for a service in a month or so ...

you can see from MarcQuinlivan video the very lift from acc pedal to brake pedal has to be more to avoid clipping the side of the brake pedal. It is a shame the pedal design was not there to make the pedals level for fast pedal switching. I am guessing this is the same for all the A3 models ...

I have a similar (comfy) issue with the pedals but more from the clutch ... I can't find a comfy position - if I have the seat so the brake/acc pedals are far enough away then I can't fully engage the clutch, if I put the clutch at a point where I can just about (comfy) press it all the way in...

I use the air-vent clip attachment for the tomtom - bought it off fleabay - works just fine :) cheap option. The position of the vents and the bracket all angle to give an ideal viewing position. No marks left on the windscreen when removed.
