Which TTRS / RS3 Brake Pads?

0.4 is quite a low friction coefficient. I'm surprised its that low. Bit of googling shows much higher coefficients at higher temperatures with other pads such as Ferrodo DS2.11 and DS3000, Hawk and Carbotech

I can't believe the similar price between the two to be honest. Fluidamper is a no brainer with it being not much more

you are right yes the TFSI engines do have balance shafts. But given the stock pulley is a damper, its not something id personally want to **** around with. Granted. the risks are reduced compared to the 06a 1.8T engine

I don't know of the SMF conversion you're doing and tbh SMF conversions allllways get mixed results. 'mine chatters' 'mine is silent' etc. The fluidamper is more suited to people who are changing internals, change any or all of the crank, rods, pistons as well as flywheels. As changing any of...

Fancy shiny, lightweight products sell, that's why their is a market for it. Their are aftermarket pulleys available for these engines that retain a damper. Search the fluidamper pulley for a proper aftermarket alternative. The theory of these things is arguably ok. Decrease mass, improve...

Is your engine still in one piece? The standard crank pulley is a damper for the whole rotating assembly. Designed to keep it balanced. This is what happens when you upset that balance:

What performance upgrades can i do now to increase 1/4 mile time?

Tuning a car for quarter mile tends to go like this, Spend £XXXX on modifications and maps and you start to knock 1s, 0.5s off your times. You then start to peak and plateau as the next stages of modifications, even more £XXXX, start to only take 0.1, 0.2s off your times. Then you start...

Not Happy, APR stage 2 problems.

This is why people like Rick, R tech and B5 are so valuable and successful. They acknowledge that every car is different. And not everyone adheres to a software companies requirements. It's not so much that the tune is bad, it's just not right. It's a common occurance with ALL software...

A3 8P Anti Roll bar advice

Actually stiffening ARBs can have a negative effect on handling if not approached properly. Front bars are the most important and so you should be careful changing these if being truly accurate and pedantic about it. Stiffer bars INCREASE load on the outside tyre which will REDUCE grip. This...

    Exhaust Diameter conundrum...

Diameter increase = pressure drop, which is why turbo cars benefit from infinitely bigger exhausts. Turbine flow decreases with pressure increase. Downpipe is more important though. Pressure and velocity isn't uniform through the exhaust system
