    Modified OEM Downpipe

Well I paid £300 for my gutted downpipe, and fitted it myself so much much cheaper, but even if you paid someone to fit it the chances are it still would be less than half of just the cost for a milly version with the latter yielding no extra benefits. So it's a no brainer IMO.

    Modified OEM Downpipe

To answer your questions, firstly getting the downpipe off is a bit of a chore but doable, I did it on the drive however a ramp would be much easier. With regards to removing the cat I wouldn't know I bought my downpipe already gutted so I could keep the OEM one intact come sale/trading in time...

    My day @ York Raceway

Cheers Fellas @NHN, haha yeah my reaction times were pretty poor all day tbf but with it being the first time I'd done it in the Audi I wanted to make sure everything was right so I could get a good time rather than quick off the line. @JonnyG, no hints and tips as such as the car is pretty...

    My day @ York Raceway

Well on sunday i headed down to York raceway with my local VW/Audi forum for some RWYB action, having never had the audi near a track/strip before i was unsure of just what it was capable of. So with that in mind i set myself a target of 12.5sec 1/4 mile run anything under that i would off been...

    Front Tyre Wear

Mine are due to be changed, similar findings to yourself tbh 9k pretty even wear. And after reading Mark (MBK's) report I'm going for MPSS 235's all round. Figured I'd change all 4 and keep the 2 Conti's off the back as spares just incase I get punctures etc.

    Intake options

Just to update this thread a little, Been in contact with EVAN @ APR, over the past week via email about an intake for the RS3, Found out the TTRS kit will not fit (which i was already aware of) and they would need to develop an RS3 specific kit. But after all there research and the data they...

    Front Mount Fitted :)

Hi P_G, the dyno time cost's £50. It's usually £65 but he offers discount to members on the Vagcars Forum, he also lets you use his vagcom to run logs of intake temps etc so we could if you went there potentially overlay your data with mine so we can then see how effective this cooler really is...

Off to have the brakes fixed

Will be interesting to see just what they have changed to eradicate the brake squeal issue. I've been one of the lucky few and never suffered with brake squeal myself. But atleast Audi have finally realised that there is an issue and hopefully you can get on with just enjoying the car for what...

@RS3Kel, with regards to the MAP im not sure tbh, hoping it will be before my trip to LeMans in June but it all depends on work unfortunately :( I think overall this intercooler in conjunction with a remap will make for an awesome package, judging by the drop in intake temps i logged today...
