Lol, just posted a pic of your car from SRS in the B6 forum here: http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a4-a4-cabriolet-s4-forum-b6-chassis/108754-wheel-colour.html Hope you don't mind. Know you like a bit of pic whoring though :p
I'd post the question up on audiSRS and RS246.com as they get a lot more RS specific traffic. Fingers crossed this is a good one for you, and goood skills with the missus.
And on the subject of RR, I'm hoping to get a dyno day sorted at Dyno Dynamics (same estate as Unit 20) for all us Northen Lot. Can't remember er where you are Bill, but might be one for you. Failing that there's one at MRC in Dec for everyone lower down the country.
Cheers mate. Hard to keep fighting the argument that Noggy is the fatest colour tho now when so many Misano's are stage 2 plus :-(
Might be time I had a little upgrade soon. Hurray!!!
Congrates mate, sounds like a beast. You'll love it. Based on what your location says you should get yourself to this meet in a few weeks: AudiSRS.com :: Northern JJB Motors Meet
Some good lads there.
Did you do the fluid change or was it the previous owner? IS there definately no air in the system? Would it be wortha rebleed? Thought there was a part number on the pads, anything in the history to confirm when they where changed?
Could add the Phateon air ducts, they'll help cool the...
A4/S4 don't fit. VW Phaeton one fits and is a damn site cheaper than the RS4 one which is around £200. The tray is plastic but I beleive there was a metal one available too.
Post some pics of the new car :photo:
Cheers Graemep, like you say the airbox end is fairly straight forward when the airbox is out. My concern is the other end of the vac pipe as I assume this connects to the vacuum system as as this seems not to have been reconnected or has come loose. I think it's that end than needs plugging...
Hi, hope someone can help. Recently noticed the vac pipe at the bottom of the airbox that opens the additional flap is not connected to anything. I believe this attaches at the back of the inlet manifold under the N75. I have roved the y ipe, airbox, n75 and other valves and loosened the black...
Would the M5 be a touring? Assume so but this hasn't been mentioned I don't think. As said I think it's really down to how much usable space you require and if you're biased for RWD or AWD. You obviously need to drive both and really assess both cars from all view points. The M5 is obviously...
Thought that might be the case, I wouldn't want to get the interior of an rs4 dirty either. Lucky mates too.
Went to Morzine in 2007, it was great, there are so many great places to ride both locally and just a few ski lifts away. Enjoy. :icon_thumright:
Looks great mate, good job done! Shocked that a Nomad doesn't fit in the car though, or do you not want it in there after a ride? Did you try dropping the seat, rear wheel out and slacken the stem? Or if the forks are travel adjust (can't tell from the pic if they're Talas or Vanilla's), then...
Car looks amazing!!! :hubbahubba:
I think I've missed what has been done though. Have you had the wheels and wing mirrors painted so they are now like the titanium package? pologies if I'm being a bit thick here, it's late :lazy:
Worth a call to these guys perhaps?
