Just out of interest I did mine but was not that dirty I couldn't get it all off because some rounded the last bolt

Clean ur egr valve mine did shocking mpg but on 40 quids it used to get about 200miles one thing I hated about that car the fuel mileage would instantly react to the driving you could go from 100 to 50 miles mine had 260k on tho

Bolts were gone on mine so just ripped it out mines twin exit single side 00 is yours 0 0

So the last bolt was rounded didn't manage to get off gave it a clean on the car put it back together throttle response more crisp sound smoother goes better easy to get the egr off
