If you search there are hundreds of posts about the issue. It isnt just a case of powering up the rear amp via the blue wire which kicks in your rear speakers, you need to know what voltage is coming off that wire.
check this vid out, see if it helps...
I think I am right, as it is what I did.
If you have pre outs with your new stereo connect them to this it will kick in the rear amp and your rear speakers...
Have you manually opened the roof all the way and then closed it, that should reset the sensors unless there is an actual fault. Have you got the special roof key to unlock the front and rear catches (drivers side panel where fuses are kept)
On vagcom under engine measuring blocks it should tell you when you are pressing the stalk and button whether it is seeing it or not. Check the coding is still correct for cruise also on steering module

Tells you what voltage the battery currently is, even if says 12v doesnt mean your battery is in good shape as the cold cramping amps could be ***** but gives you a bit of a heads up.
Handy for checking if your alternator is healthy kicking 14v+ when car running
Could it be the wiring to the sensor, does the warning stay on the DIS or come and go ?
If the leval sensor triggers and you turn engine off and back on does the warning go away, if not does the warning go away if you open and close the bonnet (it assumes you have put more oil in)
Bit more of an explanation needed,
have you tried to link keys to the car ?
Have the batteries ran out ?
If its the innards of the keyfob that arent working then buy a replacement off ebay and swop key blade and immob chip a lot cheaper.
Lock the car from outside with the key in lock
then...
Has your instrument cluster been coded for washer bottle and also steering wheel for DIS

On my B6 it was the low oil sensor, takes a few miles before it warned me upto 50
I had just serviced the car so knew the correct amount of oil was in. Opened the bonnet and closed it again and the warning went away as it assumes you have put more oil in. (Uses the bonnet switch) all depends i...
Would you lose your settings every time you switched off ?
I think RNSE doesnt make you put the code in if it loses power which it will everytime you switch off, but the radio presets, GPS and also radio settings might default to factory settings everytime you switch on ?
You really need invest in VCDS worth its wait in Gold.
Those codes could of been there for months/years ?
The one thing that causes numerous sensor faults is a low battery, have you checked the voltage with a multimeter. You need a printout of faults as if they are all voltage then makes life...
Could be a number of things
You need to find out what is setting it off, VCDS will tell you this. have you had any other electrical problems ?
VCDS will tell you the status of the microswitches in the bonnet and boot
Your battery voltage could be roughly around 12v
Could be the siren
Could be...
so each battery set should be 3.6v, bad terminology on my part in reference to chirp siren, i did mean alarm siren.
so if you put the alarm siren back in the car it should recognise low batteries and give 4 beeps if it doesnt and the batteries charge up ok and the alarm still doesnt work then...
There will be voltage going to the alarm all the time as its trickle charging the internal batteries, have you checked the voltage of the batteries in alarm siren if they are 7.2v that is full it could be the chirp siren thats knacked.
That seems a bit drastic changing the rear screen, there are a couple of audio experts on these forums, try and start a thread in the audio section or try using the search button
In reality the RNS-E needs the same amp as every other radio, one with HF. The ZF is just a bonus if you have the...
Age of RNS-E will make no difference to your problem, they are all the same
Some cars have 2x HF connectors in their antenna amps, the RNS-E uses 1x HF 1x ZF.
Most people cope with just using the HF, the ZF doesn't make that much of a difference
Apparently very common, the clip under your seat that powers seat airbag etc etc, gets stretched moving the seat back and forward.
It will of either come apart or you might have a dodgy connection
As for clearing the fault, will only clear once you have fixed the fault and then gone into...
