Had the call today from Audi - clutch & flywheel & vaccum pump to be replaced £2200, also need the rear anti roll bar replacing approx £200, so not a cheap month this month, CARS !!!!!

Hi all not posted for a while but just received a bit of bad news on my car from AUDI Manchester, the clutch is slipping & cam chain tensioner requires investigation and may require replacing or maintenance also investigation of a couple of small leaks from oil /coolant, I've been told this...

It's going for a full service soon, also diagnosis for any unknown faults - not sure to use Audi or Specialists, ? Will advertise on here if decide to sell in the new year :-)

I have the Dunlop sportmax rt 235 40 18 fitted on my A4 DTM Im happy with them :yes: Stick to the road well even in the wet and corners, I got mine at £140 a tyre fitted from kwik fit just hagle with them - Goodyear F1 look good too these would be my second choice James

Sorry mate thanks for the advice :icon_thumright: The discs were Bosch one came with grey anticarossion paint witch had biult up under the pad slightly - not sure if I was supposed to have removed with thinners ? I have cleaned the pad and disc remove the hard flakes of paint all seems fine...

Finally sorted the noise out :thumbsup: I had a nightmare fitting the new discs and pads first the noise then a faulty brake pad sensor-I got these from GSF parts and was able to return the faulty brake pad under warranty, I paid £206 for discs and pads just for the front and been quoted £75 for...

Just been out for a spin - noticed the knocking when moving forward seems fine whilst reversing will have a look in the morning:sob:
