I am wondering why there is a difference between the B6 and B7 1.9TDI with BHP Is it just a simple turbo swap to upgrade to 130bhp and could it be remapped up to 170bhp?

Am i right in thinking that the dealer just did a bodge job or will the Hex shaft only last 50k? Even with the new 100mm one fitted will that only last 50k also? I dont mind getting this upgrade done, but every 50k sounds like madness....

and if i was to buy the 07 plate 2.0tdi..... (here is me thinking... :uhm:) I read that someone in pontifract got his balanceshaft replaced for £600 all in... Maybe that would then give me a sound car?

Hi guys/gals I have a B6 at the moment and looking to change to a 2007 2.0TDI avant The one i have seen has just short of 100k and the guy is wanting £7500 for it, does that sound about right? What do i want to be looking out for when i view it and ive read on here about the oil pump/balance...

I too have been looking at changing from my B6 to a B7 Looking to change to an Avant and thought of getting something newer than my 53 plate I hear/read the balance shaft is a problem right up to 2008 if im not wrong Not too many of the 1.9 kicking around either

Do the upgrades look very white or a blue tint? Seen someone with LED upgrade in his Skoda and it looked very blue
