I get what you mean NHN, my current setup goes lower but just lack the clarity i heard in the other setup.
Right. looks like i need an RNSE. I already have the double din setup with my symphony 2.
Whats needed to ensure my MFSW and Bluetooth etc still work?
Is there a difference in the bose setup in normal b7's bs the s4/rs4?
I have bose in my car with a symphony 2 had unit. I have heard the bose in an s4 and rs4 with the rnse unit and they both sounded louder, clearer and more fuller bass.
Cheers,
Have you changed your grill yet? i did it using the same guide and it turned out good. I was tempted to do the full size surround but actually like the look of the slightly smaller grill.
Thank you, yes i was running standard 18x8 wheels, et40 i believe(could have done with a little spacer)
The biggest thing that did it for me was the comfort when compared to S line, it wasnt crashy, just handles the bumps better as well as the corners.
you can get them from ebay or places like...
Tein S.tech for me. WAYYYYYYYYYYYY better than standard in terms of comfort and stance.
S-line on the B7 are way to firm for my liking and you would need a big improvement not a similar one for daily driving.
Here is a pick of the springs on my old B7. I liked the ride so much i now have...
Thanks guys, thought there had to be a reason.
Solaris, did you get yours from the states? if you did what was the total bill?
I saw your car yesterday im guessing it was the wife driving, mine is in for lowering at the moment, made me want to get it on road quick.
Just interested in what uprated fuel pumps people have fitted on their 2.0T FSI engines, i noticed a few people running the Autotech internals.
Are there any alternatives? Walbro?
has anyone fitted a Walbro pump and is there any reason why they sholdnt be fitted?
There are lots of high...
I will hopefully be doing this conversion to my dtm soon so definately thank you to you guys for sharing.
I know its expected with the injectors and fuel pump but how significant has the drop in fuel economy been?
I have the s.tech and it's simply the best mod I ever done. The s line used to be so harsh It was a joke. Bearing in mind I has a Porsche in the past the s-lines made the Porsche seem comfortable.
With the s.techs in place it's now much more pleasant and handles better aswell. The car feels a...
Thanks guys, yes very gutted, il probably pick up a b8 later down the line.
I Was just about to purchase some clear corner xenons and either a set of speedlines or s4 avus wheels to complete it.
Wheels will make it stand out nicely.
Well after a short period of ownership i am having to sell her to fund home improvements. She has been a joy to own but the house is taking priority for now. I got her completely standard and added a range of mods, the last thing on my list was a set of alloys to finish her off. Oh well...
Speedlines is the way to go. 19's would look sweet. Good luck getting a set at a reasonable price though :)
Do you have the avus 6 spoke design wheels on your S4?
If so id be intersted in taking those off you :)

Hey guy, just wondering if it is possible to stick the genuine B7 Xenon projectors ins a Halogen casing?
So to prevent the need for Kufatec looms and Vagcom
Also make it a cheaper option as there is no need for genuine ballasts etc, just stick an Ebay kit in.
Is there a guide anywhere? i...

So if i get a different model number unit for the other side, will there be any conflict?
