Had a wild idea of boring out a 2.0l tdi engine from the a3 8v to a 2.5l, while using the internals from the 2.5l v6. Curious on how impossible it would be, if the bore is too big or if someone has done a smaller bore like a 2.1l. Money isn't a problem and i don't want to just get a v6 because...

Hi all, My son has a 1.9 tdi S line on a 57 plate. We cant get into the car, the key fob wont open the car & the manual door lock on the driver's door doesn't work either. New battery fitted to the fob.
