07 A3 Bluetooth / iphone help

Can anyone help me? Just bought a 2007 A3 S-Line TDI Quattro, the car has bluetooth which I have connected to my iphone4 just now. I can access the phonebook and make calls using the steering wheel controls but it won't play music through my itunes.

When I select a song I can see three options on the phone, I have selected the Audi option but the radio just continues playing. Should I be able to play music through the bluetooth connection?

Sorry, I am a total noob to this stuff.

The bluetooth won't work for music / media, just telephony. You need the AMI or iPod connection for music from your iPhone

Thanks for that. Can anyone recommend a system that will let me use the music on my ipod? I'd like it to be a neat install.
